A floating conference where digital nomads, founders and remote workers share a cruise ship for one to two weeks of talks, workshops and unconference sessions between ports. Editions are numbered sequentially and each takes a different ocean crossing or island route; NC18 carries around 300 participants. Attendees are a mix of long-term nomads, online business owners and first-timers testing the lifestyle.

Founded by Johannes Völkner in 2015; eighteen editions run to date, with more than 2,500 participants from 80+ countries. Paused during the pandemic and relaunched.
