The largest attempt yet to industrialise coliving: a hospitality chain built for people who wanted to 'stay, travel and work abroad indefinitely', pairing hostel-style rooms with coworking, wellness and events across roughly 100 properties in 22 countries. It listed on NASDAQ in 2022, then ran out of road — administration in July 2024, and by the end of that August every property had been sold to Collective Hospitality. It is here because its scale and its failure are both part of this story: demand for the life was real; the capital-heavy way it was financed was not.

A conference for experienced digital nomads — deliberately not for beginners — that planned seven editions on seven continents over fourteen years. Five ran between 2016 and 2022, in Bangkok, Lisbon, Medellín, Cape Town and Montréal, each capped at a few hundred long-term nomads. The project wound down after the Montréal edition and has not run since.

The brand's site remains online but no current edition is scheduled and the founders have shifted to online programmes.
